Message of solidarity to the Peruvian proletariat and people

The National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) firmly supports the Peruvian proletariat and people in giving due honor and respect to their 250 martyrs who were brutally exterminated in one day on June 19, 1986. They were inside the prisons of El Fronton, Lurigancho and Callao.

The order of extermination and disappearance came from the Peruvian President at that time, Alan Garcia, and his Council of Ministers.

The NDFP joins the families and relatives of the 250 martyrs in vigorously condemning this act of genocide and crime against humanity. The NDFP firmly supports their right to give due honor and demand respect for these martyrs. Their just demand that the remains of the 250 martyrs must be honored in a mausoleum so that their memory and legacy be perpetuated for the inspiration of the Peruvian proletariat and people.

The NDFP joins the families and relatives of the 250 martyrs and the Peruvian proletariat and people in demanding justice for the 250 martyrs. Together with them we holdi the Peruvian government under President Alan Garcia and subsequent Peruvian governments responsible for the injustice perpetrated against the 250 martyrs, their families and relatives, and to the Peruvian proletariat and people.

The Filipino people who are fighting for national and social liberation against US imperialism and local reactionaries stand in strong solidarity with the Peruvian proletariat and people.
