DFLP: On the fourth anniversary of the aggressive war on the Gaza Strip we call for ending the division and lifting the sanctions and siege
On the fourth anniversary of Israel’s aggressive war against our people in the Gaza Strip on July 8, 2014, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine praises the steadfastness of the Gaza Strip with its heroic people and courageous resistance, who has recorded the finest scenes of heroism and steadfastness and taught the Zionist enemy an eloquent lesson that has made this war of aggression as a historical event in the history of our people and its resistance , and dropped the so-called prestige of the occupation army and showed the ability of the resistance to respond to aggression and transfer the battle to the heart of the Israeli entity.
The Front also praises and appreciates the military wings of the Palestinian resistance, which offered their precious sacrifices and demonstrated their bravery, and salutes the Palestinian National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Front, which presented 30 martyrs in the battle, mostly in the front row of the front and more than fifty wounded, several of them were seriously injured and permanently disabled.
The Front added that the fourth anniversary of the bloody aggression comes and the Gaza Strip is still living under the siege and the threat of aggression and sanctions, as well as the crimes of Israeli aggression have not yet received the punishment they deserve due to the political protection provided to the Israeli entity by American policy and the blatant bias of the American administration, which reached its peak in the “deal of the century” to liquidate the Palestinian issue and the legitimate national rights .
The Front called for strengthening the Palestinian national ranks and providing elements of steadfastness in the face of the Israeli threats by immediately working to end the division, achieve internal reconciliation, lift sanctions on the Gaza Strip and by the PA government assumption to its responsibility and duties towards our people in the Gaza Strip, and the implementation of projects to eliminate the injustice of its people, address its social, health and educational problems and concerns , strengthen the infrastructure (by solving the issues of electricity, water, environmental pollution), provide employment opportunities for young people, and support trade, industry and agriculture to reduce unemployment and migration.
