As the Communist Party of Turkey-Marxist Leninist (TKP-ML), we greet with our Communist and internationalist feelings the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of the Philippines, the vanguard of the working class and people of the Philippines.

The Communist Party of the Philippines and the People’s War led by her have long played an important role in the history of world proletarian revolutions, and we are proud to be a fraternal Party with this honorable Party.

The increasing competition between the imperialists has increased even more with the economic crisis of the imperialist capitalist system. The inter-imperialist contradiction occasionally evolves into armed conflicts, as in the Ukraine-Russia war. Although the war in Ukraine is ostensibly between Ukraine and Russia, in reality it is not independent from the struggle for hegemony between the US-EU and Russian imperialists. The ongoing war in Ukraine has led to the destruction of the Ukrainian people and the death of hundreds of thousands of people and the displacement of millions of people. As in the Ukraine war, the competition of imperialist monopolies is increasing. Imperialism is once again preparing for a new world war.

While the competition of the imperialist monopolies and their struggle for the market continues, the struggles of the oppressed people of the world also continue. While the resistance of the Kurdish National Movement in Northern Syria continued, on October 7 the Palestinian National Movement witnessed a glorious uprising. While the massacre policy that Israeli Zionism has been applying to the Palestinian nation for years has been turned into a complete isolation in Gaza, the response of the Palestinian Resistance to these attacks was the insistence on armed struggle. After recovering from its first surprise, Israeli Zionism increased its genocidal attacks against the Palestinian people. While the imperialists, led by the USA, stood behind Israeli Zionism, the peoples of the world took the side of the Palestinian people. The world was divided into two. On the one side are the defenders of genocide and on the other side are those who stand by the just and legitimate struggle of the oppressed Palestinian people. Against this aggression of imperialist capitalism, the international proletariat and the rights of the oppressed world took to the streets and used the power of production in solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people.

Another region of increasing competition between imperialists is South Asia. US imperialism is positioning itself in the region due to its policy of containment of China. It is establishing new military bases in the Philippines. It makes “alliance agreements” with the reactionary Philippine state. The domination of US imperialism over the reactionary Philippine state is increasing. Parallel to this, the reactionary Philippine state, in co-operation with US imperialism, is increasing its attacks against the Communist Party of the Philippines and the New People’s Army, the vanguard of the working class and oppressed people of the Philippines, which it sees as a real danger to itself.

For this reason, valuable leaders and fighters of the people of the Philippines have been immortalized in the last period. The revolutionaries of our geography, especially our party, continue to be inspired by the determination of the Communist Party of the Philippines, the vanguard of the working class and people of the Philippines, to lead the struggle for a New Democratic society and socialism. The determined struggle of the Communist Party of the Philippines, full of 55 years of defeats and victories, continues to be an example for the international proletariat and the oppressed world in their struggle for a free world without classes, borders and exploitation.
