Leaders Of Socialist Front Nepal Hold Meeting To Discuss Future Strategy

Kathmandu, July 12, 2023: The Samajwadi Morcha (Socialist Front), a loose forum consisting of four Communist parties, is convening today holding a meeting today to discuss its future strategy.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at 4 o’clock today at the party office of the CPN (Unified Socialist), located in Aloknagar.

The purpose of the meeting is to prepare for organizing programs across all seven provinces, with the aim of raising awareness among the public about the relevance of the Front.

To shed light on the purpose and justification of the alliance, the Front is planning programs in all seven provinces. Rajendra Pandey, the Vice-President of the CPN (Unified Socialist), stated that the meeting would address the necessary preparations for these upcoming events.

“We will be organizing programs in all seven provinces to educate people about the purpose behind the formation of the Front from the last week of July,” said Pandey.

Furthermore, the Samajwadi Morcha has established a task force, consisting of one representative from each of the member parties.

Dev Gurung from the CPN (Maoist Center), Pramesh Hamal from the CPN (Unified Socialist), Rajendra Shrestha from the Janata Samajwadi Party, and Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma from the Biplav-led Communist Party of Nepal have been appointed to this task force.

The Front includes the CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party, and the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand.
