Police Arrest 2 CPI (Maoist) Cadres In Dantewada District

Dantewada District, January 10, 2023: Two cadres of the CPI (Maoist) were arrested by police on Tuesday in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh state.

Ashish alias Boli Madkam (33) and Sukda Kuhdami (42) were apprehended by the police from the jungles of Nayanar village, Dantewada Superintendent of Police Siddharth Tiwari said.

Madkam was a Jantana Sarkar Vice President while Kuhdami was the Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Majdoor Sangathan (DAKMS) Vice President of the Maoist party.

They were involved in several Maoist incidents in Katekalyan area of the district, the officer said.
