PFLP announces new historical archive of materials, documents

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine announced a new website highlighting its historical documents and legacy of struggle, released online on December 11, 2016 as part of the commemoration of the 49th anniversary of the founding of the PFLP.

The website, pflp-documents.org, includes historical records, books, documents, publications and materials published by the Front over its 49 years of history, from the founding statement of the Front and its documents from conferences and conventions, to books, articles, and political statements by the Front and its historic leaders such as Ghassan Kanafani and George Habash.

Documents are available in their language of publication, including Arabic and English. This archive is a growing website, and both additional materials and new translations will be added to the archive as it grows and expands.

The purpose of the site is to provide resources and materials to the members of the Front and its friends and supporters around the world, by ensuring the protection, preservation and promotion of the historical documents and analyses of the PFLP. It also aims to serve as a resource to scholars, writers, and researchers seeking out the original materials of the PFLP.

People with additional historical documents of the Front that they wish to add to the archive are invited to contact the archive to discuss their inclusion.
